Transform Your Smile with Post Falls Orthodontics

At Post Falls Orthodontics we are committed to providing high-quality orthodontic care to individuals who have Medicaid coverage (MCNA). Our mission is to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted, and we understand that affordability is a significant factor for many patients. That’s why we proudly accept Medicaid through Idaho Smiles and strive to make orthodontic treatment accessible to everyone.

Your Path to a Confident Smile with Medicaid Coverage

At Post Falls Orthodontics, we believe that everyone deserves a beautiful smile, regardless of their financial circumstances. We are dedicated to helping patients with Medicaid navigate the treatment process seamlessly. Here’s how we can assist you:

  1. Acceptance of Medicaid (MCNA): We are the only orthodontic practice in the region that accepts Medicaid as a form of payment for orthodontic treatment. We understand the importance of making orthodontic care affordable and accessible for those with Medicaid coverage. By choosing Post Falls Orthodontics, you can take advantage of your Medicaid benefits to achieve the smile you desire.
  2. Assistance with Case Submission: We know that the process of submitting a case to Idaho Smiles, the Medicaid dental and orthodontic program in Idaho, can sometimes be complex and overwhelming. Our experienced team is here to guide you through the case submission process, making it as smooth and straightforward as possible. We will help ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate, maximizing your chances of approval.
  3. Determining Eligibility: Treatment must be approved by Idaho Smiles to qualify for coverage. Once we submit your case to Idaho Smiles, they will review it to determine your eligibility for orthodontic treatment coverage. We will work closely with Idaho Smiles to facilitate this process on your behalf. If approved, you can move forward with your orthodontic treatment without the burden of worrying about payment.
  4. Approved Treatment is Paid 100% by Medicaid: If you are approved for orthodontic treatment coverage through Medicaid, you will not have to pay for the treatment out of your own pocket. This means you can receive the orthodontic care you need without any financial strain. Medicaid does not cover any optional upgrades, including clear braces or Retainer Assurance, but we’ll work out an easy payment plan if you’d like to add those benefits! Our goal is to make your journey to a beautiful smile stress-free and affordable.
  5. Affordable Financing, Even if Not Approved by MCNA: With low monthly payments of $129 and no credit check required, we do our very best to make orthodontic care accessible, even if your case is not approved by MCNA. Many patients with MCNA still choose to get same-day braces, even before finding out if they’re approved or not! If MCNA approves your case, we’ll refund you any payments you’ve made toward treatment, and MCNA will cover your treatment fees for as long as you maintain eligibility. If your case is not approved, you can still rest easy knowing you got the best deal in town!

Answers To Your FAQs

At what age should I schedule an appointment for an orthodontic screening?

American Association of Orthodontists recommend you should schedule your child’s first appointment by age 7.  Orthodontic treatment and a child’s growth can complement each other.  By timing orthodontic treatment to predictable stages of dental development, the orthodontist may be able to take advantage of your child’s growth and development.  Some problems that can be treated quite well in a growing child may require corrective surgery or permanent teeth to be extracted if treated after growth has occurred.

What will happen at the initial examination appointment?

Before you leave, be sure to have all the necessary information needed to complete our new patient forms, including your insurance information. Then, Dr. Wire will complete the examination, which can include X-rays and photographs, to properly diagnose you or your child’s condition. If you want to learn even more about what happens, you can find more information on our First Visit page.

What will I learn from the initial examination?

Dr. Wire will thoroughly explain your options to you after he completes the exam, and will recommend the best course of treatment. You’ll learn the answers to five important questions during your consultation appointment, including:

  • Is there an orthodontic issue, and if so, what is it?
  • What treatment is needed to correct the problem? Can braces and/or Invisalign correct the problem?
  • Will any teeth need to be removed?
  • How long will treatment take?
  • How much will treatment cost?
How much will orthodontic treatment cost?

We can only determine treatment costs after your initial consultation is completed, as each patient’s case is unique. You can learn more about our Financing & Insurance policies on our website, or speak to one of our staff members at the office. We’ll review your financing options with you, and will work with you to maximize your insurance benefits.
